The new year is celebrated on the last day of every year (31st December) around the world in different forms and tradition with the joy and happiness.  In America, when the clock strikes 12 on the 31st December night at the Times Square, people kiss their significant other and then celebrate with wine.  The is celebrated as optimistic about the future.  People wish to everyone with the positive attitude and great joy.  The new year wishes 2019 will bring the peace and prosperity to everyone's life.

The festival is celebrated in many European countries with different traditions.  In Denmark, people gather in masses and after listening to the speech of the Queen, and then with for the clock’s chime.  It is customary for the people to climb on the chair’s top and then jump into the New Year’s day at midnight, this is done to bring the good luck for the future.
